Maciej Kostro

A digital finance professional with over 20 years of experience in banking and technology. My work is centered on building and implementing secure, standardized, compliant and user-focused financial services.

I am the Service Owner for XS2A (Open Banking) Services at ING Bank in Amsterdam. In parallel, I contribute to developing pan-European financial standards and frameworks as a member of the Berlin Group's openFinance Taskforce and the European Payments Council's various working groups.

Key past projects include leading the PolishAPI initiative to establish Poland's national open banking standard. I also focus on sharing knowledge within the financial technology community. This includes co-creating the Digital Banking Academy, a workshop series still popular among professionals in new banking technologies in Poland.
